Wordpress - review and improve

I am looking for Wordpress experts to review and suggest any improvements to my Worpress website and the costs to make those improvements.

The site has evolved over the last 4 years or so. Initially it was put together by a professional but since then I have been managing it myself with some ad hoc help. I also have a resource that does my graphics.

The areas that I think need improving include:

• Over time I have added a number of plug-ins. I would be interested if any should be removed or new one’s added.
• The other day I received feedback that the font I am using may be too small.
• When I do a review at http://validator.w3.org it shows my website has a number of errors which I guess may make it hard to crawl. I’m not sure how important it is to worry about http://validator.w3.org so I would be interested in your feedback.
• Adding the YouTube social media icon to connect to my videos on my YouTube profile – andrewrogersonsac
• I would love to get more visitors to my site and people making blog comments
• Improving the CSS and PHP

What improvements do you see?

This project is not super urgent so it can be done during downtime over a couple of months.

I also have two other websites for some books I wrote.

These two websites are not on Wordpress. Any benefit in moving them to Wordpress and trying to link all three sites together?


Only bid if you know Wordpress and back up the site before doing any work.
