Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
General information for the website: News/Media Website
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of requirements/features: We would like to achieve infinite scrolling for all articles/posts on our website: WWFOldSchool.com
Currently we are using Theia Post Slider to break a post into separate parts, but we would like to implement infinite scrolling in such a manner that in addition to regular posts, the different parts within a post (when separated using pagebreak command) also appear as infinite scrolling, instead of opening on new pages like they do currently because of Theia.
Our sample article: http://wwfoldschool.com/wrestlers-deaths-ignored-by-wwe/
Kindly see the following links to get an idea about the way we want infinite scrolling to work for us :
http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/15185642/suspended-josh-gordon-cleveland-browns-fails-drug-test
http://www.foxsports.com/nba/story/oklahoma-city-thunder-russell-westbrook-triple-double-record-magic-johnson-los-angeles-lakers-041216
Please note the change in the URL with each story/part of a post when you scroll down to the next one, and the advertisement units also refresh (because technically it loads up a fresh page using AJAX). This is VERY IMPORTANT. The URL has to change while infinite scrolling for each article, as well as for each part within a post, so that it counts as a separate page view. Basically, it has to work exactly like it's working on the sample links above. And since we will no longer be using Theia to break posts into parts, but only using the command, all "parts" of one post should also scroll infinitely with the URLs changing in the same way like it does currently when using Theia.
If you need more details, ping me.
