I’m looking for someone to adapt and partly “link” two Plugins onto my Wordpress based website.
The Plugins I own:
1. http://codecanyon.net/item/map-list-pro/full_screen_preview/2620196
2. http://codecanyon.net/item/wordpress-social-stream/2201708
The theme installed on the site: http://themeforest.net/item/flatco-responsive-multipurpose-one-page-theme/5222241
I want a full width/responsive map on my homepage with a “live social stream” connected/straight below it. Everything needs to be responsive and visually sharp.
The existing map plugin has clickable locations on it anyway. But, I need the map to have clickable “regions” (this will not send the user off the page ) but it will affect the social stream below it. Each region will have a Twitter #hashtag associated with it (also want Instagram to be working – just in case added later). So if a user clicks on a location marker or randomly within the set region – it will change the “search” for the social stream below the map.
For example, a region is set us London, which has #London as the hashtag in the stream. Someone clicks on Big Ben, a location within London. The social stream will automatically change below to display #London tweets.
Features for social stream (which is a bit like a forum/community board – but “comments” will be tweets – displaying on Twitter and on the website, under set #tags)
• Full width
• A “boxed” layout of the tweets will be the “default“– this will pull in every region hashtag into the stream (essentially a “heartbeat” of this forum like system…) Each Twitter photo must be able to open "larger" in a lightbox.
• List based steams for all individual region tags.
• The stream will be a certain length with a “more” button at the bottom. This will extend the stream view.
• Users need to be able to directly tweet from the social stream ( the appropriate hashtag will be pre-inserted, based on the steam that is currently displaying) So when a user tweets it automatically appear on Twitter and the website as the user used for example #London.
*The Plugin at the moment has Twitter moderating, this needs to stay and other original features –RT, reply, ability to change #tags etc. (responsive value is not great at the moment – ensure it looks good on phones/tablets)
The map plugin is fine apart from I want "ratings" in the location windows. (Obviously the map will have “location” pages on the website – these will not need any customisation and will not have social streams on the pages).
I will provide a further brief to the person who accepts the job. I will also be on hand to answer any questions. It is likely that there will be further work opportunities – so looking to find someone who is reliable.
Thank you for taking the time to view this! Please quote a fixed price and time.
If you think different Plugins would be more useful - let me know. The "locations" are the heart of the website and the social side surrounds. You can also create a Plugin from scratch if easier, but we must have a clear understanding before the job is started.
