Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the website: Existing website
Num. of web pages/modules: 1
Description of requirements/features: I need someone to convert a PSD to a single page template, to be used within an existing Wordpress theme. That means you *don't* need to create an entire theme from scratch, you just need to add a template page.
You must be familiar with the following:
* Git - the theme is hosted in a private Github repo
* SCSS - all CSS is done via SCSS
* Grunt - you must be able to run the pre-defined grunt commands to compile the SCSS
* Zurb Foundation - we use Foundation as our UI framework, working knowledge would be helpful
Approach
* A file called 'template-switch-food' has already been created for you to use
* As has a SCSS file in scss/marketing/switch-food.scss
* You should only need to edit these two file - contact me first if you need to change other theme files
Implementation notes / requirements
* Where possible, images should be x2 / Retina ready
* Avoid hard coding colors - there are variables defined in scss/config/colors
* In the centre of the design is a recipe book - the text should be HTML overlaid over an image - i.e. the text *should not* be contained in the image
* Please ensure your HTML is clean, and your SCSS is tight
Full PSD of page and link to git repo will be given when we get started.
I'm looking for a reliable developer who can produce quality work - there will be future projects.
James
