Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
General information for the website: Website for local high street shop
Kind of development: New website from scratch
Num. of web pages/modules: 6 page templates/designs
Description of every page/module: 1. TWDS-HomePage_v1-menu-overlay.jpg - this shows the new menu style we discussed showing larger thumbnails of the dresses. We can either show all the designers listed on the left and show individual dresses in the main area as you scroll over each designer name. Or we can do as discussed and have the thumbnails just showing each brand. This version shows the menu as an overlay menu.
2. TWDS-HomePage_v1-menu-slide-down.jpg - Same as above but this slides the lower content down upon menu reveal. We can test the best way for these menus once we start coding. - Yet to be decided if this is going to be used.
3. TWDS-Designers-Products-Page.jpg - This page shows all dresses for a particular brand, replicated for each brand.
4. TWDS-Product-Detail-Page.jpg - Product detail page shows the dress in a larger size with an active zoom to see in even better detail. We've added a 'make appointment' form prominently as a call to action. We have also included 'related' dresses, these may be other brands but similar styles etc so would have to be selected in the admin area by yourselves.
5. TWDS-ContactUs.jpg - The contact page will probably end up slightly differently but it's easier/quicker for us to do this once coded so as long as you're ok with the general layout we'll tweak this on the coded site.
Description of requirements/features: Appointment form may need a few more options than the standard form but nothing that can't be done in Contact 7 etc.
Javascript/CSS skills a must if we are to do a nice looking mega menu - the one that might actually slide down and push the rest of the page content down in turn. We'll probably have to play around with this.
Mobile pages have not been designed but the site is designed on a 3/4 column grid so we should have no problem making the mobile pages work. We may need to change (or hide) some elements depending on the viewport size.
There is no ecommerce requirement for this site.
Extra notes: We are looking for a top class developer who knows WordPress inside out and is capable of handling all types of WordPress tasks.
General PHP skills are highly desired as custom solutions will often be required. Likewise an expert level grasp of CSS and Javascript is required.
Good communication is an absolute must, if you sometimes go missing for days on end or fail to reply to emails etc in a timely manner then we are NOT interesting in working with you. Can't stress enough how important this is.
