Hi there. I have my personal GoDaddy account, with 3-4 simple websites all hosted within it. I am now in the process of splitting out the websites from my account to new Godaddy accounts. The first to go is a charity website. I have created a new hosting account with GoDaddy. I have transferred the domain into the account. I have moved over the backup file. I have extracted the backup file. So far so good. Now I am stuck at moving over the database file through the phpadmin, it shows an error.
SO, GoDaddy doesn't offer support for the database aspect of this. My options are to transfer the domain back into my account, re-establish it and then do a managed migration with a new WordPress instal with GDaddy help, or hire a developer to help me over this simple hurdle, and then ask you to help with the other sites I have.
The way I would like to proceed would be to authorise someone to access the 2 GoDaddy accounts so you will need to have your own GoDaddy account.
