Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
General information for the website: Parking Calculator
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of requirements/features: On this site. www.lutonairportparking.uk.com there is a calculator where you put in the date and time of when you are stopping, when you click get quote it calculates the cost using the formula
var preco = 28.50;
var taxa = 2.50;
for(var n=1; n<=32; n++){
var cal=((preco+(taxa)*(n-1)))/n;
console.log("day "+n+" "+cal);
}
Now the formula isn't working correctly because when someone let says books on a Saturday at midnight 12:00am and to leave on a Sunday at 3:00am its charging for one day, when actually it should be charging for 2 days because its going over into Sunday by 3 hours.
Once you've got the cost you click book it then send thats value to your woo commerce basket.
But for some reason its adding on an extra 1 / 2 p to the amount and Im not sure why.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
UK DEVELOPERS ONLY !! AND READ IT BEFORE APPLYING I DONT WANT YOUR CANNED RESPONSES.
