Description
Experience Level: Expert
General information for the website: Real Estate website
Kind of development: New website from scratch
Description of every page/module: Hi All,
I am currently migrating an html website towards Wordpress. I am planning to use one of the standard Wordpress (most probably Twenty Seventeen) themes as basis and to personnalise the child theme.
I will be using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to add extra fields to my posts in order to set-up a user friendly admin environment. 3 custom fields have been identified for the moment : Reference (alphabumerical), Gallery (htl to paste a shortcode) and Price (numerical).
I need help from a web developper for the archive pages and for the set-up of the single posts
Description of requirements/features: Archive pages
- The page structure is as follow : Hero image with header text / Text / posts
- The posts must be sorted by price (descending order). That means we need to use the values in a numerical custom field
- The posts are shown in a 3 column grid (Masonry ?).
- Some of the categories will have over 200 references. The client doesn't want pagination. We should therefore enable the Infinite scroll jQuery script in order not to penalize Page Speed.
- The page loading time must be good. (will be tested under Pingdom and Google Pagespeed).
- A well thought responsive design is expected
SINGLE POSTS
The single post layout is quite forward without any major difficulty. The web developer main job will be in fine tuning the header for desktop and mobile devices.
- A common background image will be used
- The header image will be featured above the background. (a custom image size will be added to functions.php)
- A heading text will be shown in the header
