Description
Experience Level: Expert
General information for the website: Wordpress website feature being developed for a client
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of requirements/features: General information for the website: My client is adding this to a page within their Wordpress based site
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of requirements/features: I have been asked to add two drop-down menus within a members only area of a website aimed at disabled people (hence the menus need to be keyboard accessible); they want to present resources tagged as either 'Disability' or 'Subject'.
Those resources could be posts or documents. Because they want this really quick - so show potential clients what they will be offering; I was thinking - in the short-term - If the resource was a document I could add it into a Wordpress posts (i.e. one document embedded in to the post) and the categories the posts; then present a drop-down of all posts tagged as 'Disability' or 'Subject'.
However I can't figure out how to code the actual drop-down or how to code it in an accessible way. I can easily get a list of the posts in a category into an unordered list (using a plugin) and I could add/or I could add the required posts in to a menus . I then need to take that unordered list (or menu) and create a drop-down menu of those posts/resources.I need something fairly quick.
Specific technologies required: CSS, HTML, Accessibility
Specific technologies required: css, html, web accessibility
