Hello,
I developed a custom wordpress page (customPage.php) where a ajax-javascript snippet is trying to call the page (insert_data_in_db.php) which is in charge of inserting data records into a database table.
While execution I am getting an error: "Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404". How can I fix this?
I am sure it's an easy fix and should not take long.
customPage.php
$.ajax({
url:"../insert_data_in_db.php",
type:"post",
data:{wp_username:email, tool_id:accessCode},
success:function(data)
{
alert('SUCCESS');
}
});
insert_data_in_db.php
I am not sure if creating a separate php page for just inserting data in database is the right approach. I tried a different approach using Node.js with Javascript didnt work out either. You have a better approach I WOULD LOVE TO TALK ABOUT THAT.
This issue has to be fixed ASAP (within the next 48hours).
