Description
Experience Level: Entry
I have a (very) basic understanding of APIs and have managed to set up quick replies paired with a welcome message to start an automated option for quick direct message support.
However I would like to have answers to the questions set up in the quick replies so that when a user clicks an option they are automatically sent a preset message (immediately).
Is this something that's possible? As it appears to be in the video here:
https://blog.twitter.com/marketing/en_us/topics/product-news/2016/speed-up-customer-service-with-quick-replies-welcome-messages.html
I know there are limits to requests (15 every 15 minutes) so setting up an automated all-messages scan looking for the phrases mentioned above wouldn't be effective enough.
This is the API request overview page:
https://developer.twitter.com/en/docs/direct-messages/quick-replies/api-reference/options
Basically, I currently have:
• Welcome message, instructing user to pick from options below
• Quick replies, (options) with labels and descriptions
What I want to add, is:
• When a user clicks an option, have a message automatically sent to them.
Thanks in advance!
Lewis.
