Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the website: CSV file processing.
Description of requirements/features: Script to create a new mysql table with each uploaded CSV file and return the column name and column count of the column that has email addresses.
- Use Dropzone.js to upload files and make checks.
- Upload file (check if file is CSV with a column containing email addresses, file must have headers).
- Create a new (random name) mysql table from the uploaded file.
- Return Table name, Column count/name of the column that has email addresses.
Things to consider:
- You must use your own testing server.
- Files with no headers should not be processed and should be rejected before uploading. Also, read the file prior uploading and verify that only one column has email addresses (javascript checks or ajax php checks - Javascript only checks preferred), Only CSV files accepted, max file size 20MB (editable).
- CSV files may contain more than 1 column with email addresses, script should return the column count/name of the column with only email addresses.
- Code must be commented and well formatted.
- Again, script should return only the table name, column number and column name of the column with only email addresses.
Extra notes:
