Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the website: Image gallery scripting update
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of requirements/features: PPH veteran here looking to my colleagues for a little help, and the boss is paying. All our online products rely on an image display script that I modded back in 2005. I am trying to upgrade their servers to do a Magento install, but this script breaks in the process and kills all our online auction images (about 600 on a daily basis).
The scripts works in PHP 5.3, but breaks in anything further. We need to modify the script to be compliant with at least 5.6 to go ahead with the Magento install.
Output can be found at https://www.redstradingpost.net/auction_images/Auction_Arms/
Source files available on request. We need an updated script that can handle new items and also support the existing content.
Extra notes: UPDATE!! I have added a link below to the original source files our script is built on. I will handle the actual installation once the script has been modified to work in PHP 5.6. All URLs and image paths must remain the same as they are linked to thousands of existing URLs that we don't wish to edit individually.

At the moment, we plan to handle the Magento installation ourselves once we are able to upgrade the PHP on our server, but a qualified coder on this job is likely to be called on in the future.
I appreciate all the proposals, and plan to choose someone to work with by early next week.

Hello Matt,
Can you please share a script and when you run this script it's stop execution and display any error or not working perfect?
I look forward to your response.
Thanks,
Darshan -
Hi Matt, its a blind call. At least share what the script do and share some error messages if there any.
Matt B.08 Dec 2017I have added some addition details and links to the source files to the job listing. Have a look and get back to me.
