Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I have installed two separate scripts (a freelancer script and a Questions and Answers script) under a common domain, each being installed in its own directory. Over several phases, i would like to merge the two scripts so that they essentially become one. For the user, it should appear and function as if it is all one program.
For this project, I would like to merge the Registration and login process for the two scripts, with the freelancer script being the master. Upon completion of this project, the user should only have to register one time and login one time to use both scripts.
The requirements for this project are:
1. Merge the registration/login process of both scripts so there is a common registration and common login process, with the freelancer script being the master. After registration, users profile data should be common to both programs, with data coming from the Freelancer script (which is where users will register). Also, after login, users should be simultaneously logged in to both scripts, and should be simultaneously logged out of both programs upon signing out/off.
2. Limit access in the Q&A script depending on role: The freelancer script allows and has already been setup for two roles; CLIENTS and PROVIDERS. (Note: in the previous project i awarded, separate registration pages were setup for each role.) Users who register as CLIENTS should be limited to asking questions in the Q&A script. Users who register as PROVIDERS should be able to both Ask and Answer questions in the Q&A script.
If you have any questions, or need any clarification, please send me a message.
Note, the path to my scripts are as follows:
www.legalally.com/marketplace (freelancer script)
www.legalally.com/advice (open source Q&A script which is the subject of this project)
