Description
Experience Level: Expert
Before we start, it's a CodeIgniter project, so if you're not confident with CodeIgniter please don't read any further.
Background:
Currently building a school grades tracking system, which allows different schools to sign-up to the system and allow their students to login, input their grades at each assessment level and it'll graph the user's progress.
Requirements:
The back-end development is currently being done by us to allow schools to sign-up and add their students onto the system. What we require you to do, is complete the student section of the website, whereby the student can:
- Input 3 initial results for a chosen subject from a dropdown.
- Give the user an indication whether they're 'On target', 'Exceeding expectations' or 'Below Expectations' depending on their input and the algorithm provided
- Use the algorithm to graph the assessment results that have been input to show user progress against a baseline/school expectation.
- Allow the user to input up to 3 additional results over a school year which again will be plotted on a graph.
- Ability to socially/publically share the graphs therefore all graphs will need to have a publicly accessible URL.
- Allow the user to input 'tactics' from a pre-populated list - These tactics will have NO impact on any graphs, they are there purely for student reference.
- Allow the user to see a 'What-if' screen, which gives the user the ability to input any grade they like to see what they would have to achieve in their assessments to achieve for example an 'A' grade, or a A* grade.
All work must be completed on the existing frameworks used:
- CodeIgniter (PHP)
- Twitter Bootstrap (HTML/CSS)
What we will provide:
- All Creatives in PSD format
- Access to the SVN repository for the project which MUST be used
We can do all the HTML and CSS for each page so all that is required is to plug in the PHP functionality into each section.
Thanks for your time.
