Description
Experience Level: Expert
The site is to be used for a small food delivery service, starting with Sunday roasts and expanding range, opening hours etc etc. Customers will be able to purchase & pay for selected meals online. The ability to set up promotional items & prices is needed. Orders can only be accepted within certain postcode areas. Royal mail Post code data will be supplied.
Please base your quote on the specs as shown to give a like for like reflection:
1. Website software - built using the WordPress, the most widely used web publishing system on the internet with companies like eBay and Yahoo using it (see http://wordpress.org/showcase/)
2. Website design - I would recommend that the design would be based on a pre-existing theme (see attached image) but with the content changing to suit (ie logo, testimonials, products)
3. Desktop/mobile - the website would adapt to fit different screen widths found on both desktop (PCs) and mobile devices (iPads and iPhones)
4. E-commerce - the website will have full e-commerce functionality built-in including ...
standard options...
- manage products and categories (ie main meals, deserts)
- receive customer payments through paypal
- manage customer orders
custom options...
- sell product bundles with a discounted price (ie 2 adult meals + 2 childrens meals)
- free shipping with a minimum order value
- only ship to selected postcodes (ie S70-S75)
5. Content management - ability to add new pages and update existing ones (ie about us, terms)
6. Menu structure - the website would contain the following pages (although more can be added at any time)...
main menu...
- Home - full width slider, feature products section for deals, testimonials section
- Meals (with drop down menu listing any product categories ie main meals, deserts)
- category (ie main meals) - listing products within that category
- About us - some background about the company
- Contact us - an enquiry form to receive messages from customers
footer menu...
- terms and conditions
7. Facebook integration
- A box listing photos of users that liked your page
- Add facebook like buttons to product pages
8. Visitor tracking - using Google Analytics to monitor visitor numbers on your site (useful to track how people find your site and which pages are most popular)
9. Search engines - integration with all major search engines and tools to optimise the site for search engines
