Description
Experience Level: Expert
We have a product called foliopic (www.foliopic.com). It's a CMS which allows customers to create and manage their own site via a custom built CMS system in PHP/MySQL. We want to take it to the next level and have a number of improvements we are looking to freelance out to skilled, professional web developers and designers.
The first step is to make the platform more responsive in design. We would like the backend CMS to be upgraded so that they can be easily used on mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones. We are looking for someone who is willing to do this using the Twitter Bootstrap or Zurb Foundation framework. This project is a code project in which we are looking for a freelancer who is willing to take on the exisiting HTML/CSS design written in PHP and convert it into a responsive design suitable for most screen sizes.
The code is built in PHP/MySQL (not Object Orientated) with very good use of PHP functions and CSS classes for the templating. The source code can be provided to the successful candidate along with a database structure. Work must be carried out on a test environment setup by the freelancer on their own server.
Do not apply unless you have had a look at the product before submitting a quotation. Go to the address above and get a free account to get a better idea of the backend CMS.
Please include 'FOLIOPICCMS' in your response to indicate you have read the description as well as a link to your foliopic demo site to confirm you have followed the instructions above.
Applicants, please provide the following information:
- cost
- timescale
- examples of responsive work you have done (ideally with Twitter Bootstrap or Zurb Foundation)
- responsive framework to be used
- link to your portfolio
- your weekly availability for contact (times you normally work)
- start date availability
- any questions/comments/suggestions you may have
There is a long list of upgrades we are looking to do, so this could lead to quite a lot of future work for someone.
