My site allows people to purchase brand new products at less than half their retail prices. Unlike penny auctions such as bidhere.com, quibids.com and beezid.com, item prices are set by the admin (that's me).

To start, there’ll only be one auction at a time. I’d like to be able to add the number of auctions later. I’ve attached a design template of the original site. The only change in the homepage design is to make the background plain red.
HOW IT WORKS: There’s a timer that refreshes every time someone places a bid. Assuming it is counting down 10 seconds, the countdown will go like this:

IE, it will count down 10 seconds and then take three more to check if anybody has placed a bid in the last seconds. I want to be able to increase the time depending on how people will respond.
Auctions will run on weekdays from 9am to 9pm in GMT +3 time.
THE PERSONAL SHOPPER is an automatic bidder. Please see the second attachment (although I’ll make minor changes). Members may only use the Personal Shopper. No other automatic bidders will be allowed.
INTERACTION: I’d like to have an interactive feedback page such as Amazon.com’s. I would like to integrate a helpdesk such as http://www.ilient.com/help-desk.htm.
There should be minimal redirecting. Instead, there will be pop-ups, drop-down arrows etc.
TEXT: I have sample tickers for the home page that I can email.
TIMELINE: The project should be ready to go to market four weeks after kickoff.
MAINTENANCE: Please indicate whether you provide site maintenance and bug fixing and at what cost, if any.
I’m not a techie so the site and admin panel/back end should be friendly to me. The initial site had been built on Symfony which I liked. If you prefer to use another platform, please let me know.
