Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
General information for the website: Local Interest club website - competition results web pages.
Description of every page/module: I need to create a template web page that displays competition results on a website. The template will apply to numerous pages. The competition results and related data reside in separate tables within a single MySQL database - these results have been imported via a CSV file. I have the template page designed and working. I can connect to the relevant database successfully. I know how to output or 'echo' the content of a variable. What I need is a php script that can be inserted into the template that will query the table conncted to a specific competition and allocate a specified variable to a field in the table. The script must be secure and not vulnerable to SQL Injection attacks. This should be massivley easy for an experienced PHP developer.
Description of requirements/features: Attached is a CSV file showing all the columns, rows, fields and variable names. The varaible name in column E should contain its corresponding value in column C (i.e the variable name in E2 should contain the data contained in C2, etc, etc). Where a field contains the word 'NULL' the associated variable should contain NULL as a word, not a blank or any other value.
For the purpose of this exercise, the database name is 'lfpsorgu_results' and the table to be queried in that database is called 'z_any_year_results'.
Extra notes: Please bare in mind that this work is for a small club, not a commecial venture. Whilst we have no specific budget set, we will compare quotes against feedback and reputation to select the most overall competitive bid.
If you need any further information, please ask.
