A. HOT TOPIC ADDITION
Two identical websites will use this facility hence programmer does it once and copies to second website that’s why this project is treated as a single project. Bids should indicated total amount for the job and time frame.
--------------
A single new page is added to existing site titled “Hot Topic” SEE IMAGE. This page should allow users post hot topics for comments and discussions. Admin should be able to post topics for comments also. This should be a page or module on its own.
Each comment posted should show on the activity feed page as well as fan arena page.
Other users can post their hot topics.
When the hot topic is posted, before it can appear on the “Hot Topic” page, it should first be put on a waiting list created in the admincp page. Admin should be able to approve or decline topics from the waiting list in admincp page.
If the topic is declined it is automatically deleted. If it is accepted, it is automatically added to the hot topic list.
Discussions and comments on the Hot Topic can be added by users at the bottom of the comment page. See image “Click to post your comments”.
Maximum number of discussions per topic at any one time should be set by admin from admincp e.g. 1, 2, 50 etc discussions.
Length of time the topics can last should be controlled individually by admincp page. E.g. 1day 2days 3days-60 and indefinitely. (indefinitely means that the particular involved topic remains indefinitely).
IMAGE EXPLANATION (YOU NEED TO OPEN IMAGE TO UNDERSTAND EXPLANATION)
------------
a) “Topic: Removal of Sir Alex Ferguson” (Hot Topic added by user)
b) “Tevez is not playing with the team...” (Body of Hot Topic added by same user).
c) Image of footballers (Image uploaded by user)
Create provision for user to add all the above as shown in image (See “e” below).
a) Posted by: Obiyo etc (Users photo/avatar, username, football club, date and time of posting) This should show below posting as shown in image.
b) “Select Hot Topics and post your comments” drop down arrow should contain a list of the posted Hot Topics and body which has been approved by admin in admincp.
c) “Report this post” should alert admincp to the page or post reported with a link to that particular posting.
d) “Post your comments here” Here, all the users in the database can freely post their views or comments on the any of the Hot topic which was posted, approved and appears on the drop menu list.
Remember users who accesses this page will see the latest Hot Topic post and can go to the drop down list to select a different topic for comment. Also remember that it’s the Hot topic that appears on the list not the body of the Hot Topic. The Topic and body will then appear as shown on the image when the topic has been selected.
e) “Click to post Hot Topics (Subject to Approval)” This is where users can click and be given the opportunity to post hot topics. You will add these pop up parts as design is not provided: i) Insert Topic , ii) Insert body, iii) Upload image. iv) Send
They will the see a notice saying your Topic has been posted for approval.
-------------------------------------------------
B. HOME PAGE IMAGES
On the website www.europeanball.com and www.americanboll.com homepage, the images and details of users with most recent activity scrolls down. I need a little change as described below:
1. Users who don't select a football club from list provided should not show in homepage scroll.
(Not even those who inserts clubs or those who selects "None").
2. Also users who posted events should not show in homepage scroll
3. Make it mandatory that a club must be selected during signing up.
4. The admincp should have a provision where admin can send emails to all users simultaneously and individually.
However I want to have a copy of the changed files so that I can restore the changes if I choose to.
