Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
This is the first of two jobs, but in short, I need some help to write a macro to help with some analysis.
It would probably take you about 10 min to do if you want to do a basic job (which I will be happy with)
In short, I have around 16 columns that I break up in to 3 chucks (of 16 columns). These chunks are separated Each chuck represents a bicycle crank revolution. I mannually delete the rows until the crank position resets i.e. past value of around 355-359 it then resets to a value that is between 0 and 5. There are 10 "EMG" columns in each chunk and I want to find the maximum value of each chuck (and ideally the average, as well) and then correspond that max value to the respective "crank pos" (crank angle). I was using a "vlookup" to do this which is cumbersome.
Ideally, I would like (seperate) macro that:
- that cuts them into 3 chunks that I manually do (this is optional)
- Finds the max value of each EMG column for each chunk
- The VLOOKUP or function that finds where the Max value occurs.
- The Max and VLOOKUP underneath each chuck
- Somewhere there is an average of each of the 3 max values and crank pos
I have attached two files. 1) Raw - the spreadsheet dump with some comments
2) how I want it to finish.
As mentioned, I need to be specfic for each column as they are all different in length
