This plugin is for a research project, part of which is gather questionnaire responses. These questionnaires will have the odd qualitative response area but mostly they comprise single or multiple selections. Each questionnaire relates to a case study. There will be six case studies each with about 130 questionnaires.
To make it easier for volunteers entering the questionnaire results I was looking for a plugin to run from our existing wordpresss website. It is currently running Mingle on top of the usual wp-login though this could be removed. The idea is to use the site as a hub for collecting this information but also to keep ‘possession’ of what is technically ‘confidential’ information submitted by participants. An existing plugin, KB Survey, works nicely on the front end and I like the results part. It is now out of date and not in development. It also needs to work like this:
• Volunteers login first through wp-admin and enter the results there
• When they login they will only see a left hand menu option for the questionnaire area. Therefore the plugin needs to have an area where I can restrict wp admin access
• Clicking it will show them the case study they are involved with. That is, I will have paired their username with a case study already
• From there they can enter the results for each respondent. One questionnaire entry = one respondent
• In the end the volunteer will see a list of questionnaires they have entered.
To achieve this, the plugin needs to do the following
• Have a full version that can be viewed as admin
• From the admin login I can set up my six (or so) case studies
• I can also design a questionnaire for use by the volunteers to enter information. The questionnaire will be standard for all case studies
• Clicking on a case study I can see the full list of questionnaire case entries that volunteer has completed. I can also add any questionnaire results myself
• Clicking on an entry I see the full individual questionnaire as respondent has completed
• From this admin view I can view the results for each full case study. A little like KB Survey
• I can also choose to export each case study station as a spreadsheet.
The project is for a small media charity in Manchester so our preference is for local bids. We have a small budget but a potential lasting business relationship that would benefit the developer.
