HI
I operate a marketing consultancy and work with a law firm that looks after consumer claims
Our website was originally developed quite quickly and we are experiencing a number of problems causing us to consider a redevelopment.
Before we do, we would love some input as to the UX. I have been playing with the site for the past 3 years and am not sure I can see it from an outsider's perspective anymore.
The law firm operates in a highly unethical industry where consumers have been duped or scammed multiple times. As an example, a company that sells crooked timeshares may disappear. The directors then set up a claims management company to handle the claims of the original company. Often the consumer has sat through heavy sales presentations in a hot room with no water and miles away from the hotel (taken there on a tour bus). The consumer is told to agree in principle to buying a timeshare and is so at ends due to the long presentation, dehydrated etc they often agreed just to make it end.
Another example is when solar panel company reps sold solar panels they sold false promises saying that the panel would 'pay for itself' when in fact, once they Gov stopped the support payments the homeowner ended up having to pay far more on the load they took out than they could ever make in energy savings.
The list of these claims is varied but they all mean that knowing who to trust is paramount.
The biggest benefit of working with a law firm is that we are SRA regulated.
We are setting up some great systems at the back for retargeting and nurturing.
The review is so we can understand if what we think we are communicating is coming across and if the buttons, CTA's are in the right place. We will be working with a professional copywriter to improve the copy but your thoughts and feedback are very welcome here too.
This is quite urgent as I have a meeting about this tomorrow and would really love to present a 3rd party point of view.
The feedback can be video or written.
