Experience Level: Expert
An experienced flash flex developer is required to help finish a project for a leading UK broadcaster.
The project is based on a paper vision Map with with interactive elements allowing a user to post information within the 3-D space.
Upon load, the map calls posts from a database to position within the 3-d space using x,y,z co-ordinates.
The user can the navigate the map, post their own story (written to database) and read any story and comment on it. Essentially its a forum within a 3-d environment.

-Overview of work
Development is in Beta and we require a developer capable of implementing tweaks to the camera positioning, streamlining the posting UI and inserting an initial tutorial and loadbar.

-Completed to date
Currently the map, control system, posting, viewing and commenting system, full screen mode and GUI are all developed and working well. All 3-D environments are built and integrated and database integration is being tested and tweaked.

-Jobs to do
Posting/Commenting and viewing of posts needs to be caressed to deal with scaled information as well as various image aspect ratios, early exit of process and how the user views a long string of posts (pagination/slide bar)

The camera position needs to be raised and a max. zoom set to stop pixelation of the textures being visible.

Extent of camera movement also needs to be set within map bounds.

A simple slide show tutorial needs to be placed at the start as a loading bar with Arrow buttons L/R to navigate.(graphics supplied) (loading is coded but no graphic implemented)

Finally the system needs to be streamlined for performance and compiled for testing.
