Description

Experience Level: Expert
I support a UK based sports data feed website.

I am currently looking for an MSSQL programmer with some C sharp skills.

My current programmer I have worked with for this website for over 5 years has now taken full time work and does not wish to work outside of his full time work.

I am looking for ad hoc MS SQL requirements to be undertaken.

The sports data site is fed XML data from a sports data provider and there is a listener program that waits for the file and then puts it into the MS SQL database tables and then this is displayed on the site using .Net nuke where modules display the data on the website, (I am told that .net nuke is easy to pick up if you already know .Net),

Sometimes the data fed from the sports data feed company is wrong and therefore needs updating with the correct results.

Sometimes there are requests for project work that can be scheduled in a time frame that works for you, eg recently the data feed structure has changed and this required some website changes, C sharp reprogramming and database changes.

If this is the kind of work you may be interested in then please let me know how you work and your rates per hr and per day.

All work is done remotely so no need for travel. The website is cloned on a test server and this is first used to test code changes before live changes on the main sites server.

Sometimes there are a couple of projects for this client and other times I don't have any problems with the site or any project requests for months.

I am looking for someone who I can work with ongoing. Strong English will be essential and the ability to prove skills and experience. It is essential tha the partner I choose can understand the site and get to know the code and be keen to take on scheduled project work for the websites improvements when required and to know how to update any problems in the results tables on the databases in a good time frame eg resolve problems within a 4 hr time frame, (usually only takes 20 mins for the change).

This will suit some one in the UK, Europe or USA.

Best regards,

Tim Roberts
