A simple MS Access 2010 Application with 3 parts. This Application System is to record if the tap water handle is On or Off. Some information is required to be extracted from an Excel Sheet. Please refer to additional information.
1. Off services form – Captures User information and store in a database where TAP is set to Off.
2. View Off services form –
a. View by TAP_ID – View ALL data in “Master table” WITH Status = “Off” AND TAP_ID in ascending order. Display in this order; TAP_ID, Username, Shift, Date, Time, Remarks. (Do not show STATUS.)
b. View by Username – View ALL data in “Master table” WITH Status = “Off” AND Username in ascending order. Display in this order; Username, TAP_ID, Shift, Date, Time, Remarks. (Do not show STATUS.)
c. View by Shift – View ALL data in “Master table” WITH Status = “Off” AND Shift in ascending order. Display in this order; Shift, TAP_ID, Username, Date, Time, Remarks. (Do not show STATUS.)
d. View by Date – View ALL data in “Master table” WITH Status = “Off” AND Date in descending order. Display in this order; Date, TAP_ID, Username, Shift, Time, Remarks. (Do not show STATUS.)
3. On services form – Captures User information and store in a database where TAP is set to On.
4. View On services form –
a. View by TAP_ID – View ALL data in “Master table” WITH Status = “On” AND TAP_ID in ascending order. Display in this order; TAP_ID, Username, Shift, Date, Time, Remarks. (Do not show STATUS.)
b. View by Username – View ALL data in “Master table” WITH Status = “On” AND Username in ascending order. Display in this order; Username, TAP_ID, Shift, Date, Time, Remarks. (Do not show STATUS.)
c. View by Shift – View ALL data in “Master table” WITH Status = “On” AND Shift in ascending order. Display in this order; Shift, TAP_ID, Username, Date, Time, Remarks. (Do not show STATUS.)
d. View by Date – View ALL data in “Master table” WITH Status = “On” AND Date in descending order. Display in this order; Date, TAP_ID, Username, Shift, Time, Remarks. (Do not show STATUS.)
5. Master table – Stores all the data from the Off services AND On services.
Additional Information:
• Both Off services and On services requires user information which are Username, Shift, Status, Date, Time, TAP_ID and Remarks.
• All the information above cannot be null, “NULL”, “NIL”, =0 or empty.
• Username is in Drop down list which is extracted from an Excel sheet. Pop up Error Box when no Username is input.
• Shift is in Drop down list contains only \"A\", \"B\", \"C\", \"D\", \"Others\", \"On Day\". Pop up Error Box when no Shift is input.
• Status is a label which is auto-set to \"Off\" in Off services & \"On\" in On services.
• Date in both Off and On services cannot be more than the current date. Use of Date Time Picker. (E.g. Today date is 19/11/2010, user cannot select a date after 19/11/2010 such as 20/11/2010 or 29/04/2015 but is allow to pick a date Before or Equal to 19/11/2010) Format is DD/MM/YYYY
• Time in both Off and On services is in Drop down list contains \"00:15\", \"00:30\", \"00:45\", \"01:00\", \"01:15\"... all in intervals of 15 mins starting from \"00:15\" till \"24:00\" all in 24 hour format. All in numeric and NO alphabets. Pop up Error Box when no Time is input.
• TAP_ID is in Drop down list which is extracted from an Excel sheet.
o If the TAP_ID have been already recorded in the “Master Database” WITH the status set to “On”, it will not be display in the drop down list in the Off services but will be display in the drop down list of the On services.
o If the TAP_ID have been already recorded in the “Master Database” WITH the status set to “Off”, it will not be display in the drop down list in the On services but will be display in the drop down list of the Off services.
o By default all TAP_ID is set to Off.
• Remarks are an empty box which requires the user to fill any information in both alphabetic and/or numerical. (Plain strings max. 200) Pop up Error Box when no Remarks is input.
