I have been given a project to design a MEAN stack application using my own data set.I have chosen Game Of Thrones to base it off and I have worked to develop the back end.
A user can add an episode, edit, delete and retrieve them all. Same with 'reviews' for each episode, I have tested this with Postman.
What I need now is the front end , I am genuinely too busy to do this which is why I am outsourcing it.
There is front end code in place already as this was originally a 'businesses' dataset used as an example and I have tried to swap it out using my game of thrones dataset. So there is a template there in a sense to follow and change.
Extra functionality and enhancements are needed as well :
A search would be nice , so to search for an episode or by a word in the summary.
Pagination needs updated so for example it could display links to 10 pages at a time, at present all I have is previous and next.
There is Auth0 authentication in place for front end but it would be nice to implement it for back end as well to stop anyone using postman to post an unathrozied review.
Pagination for reviews would be nice, when if there were 20 reviews for an episode it would look long to read so pagination there would be awesome.
Each review has a set of votes (funny/useful/cool) that are not presently being used. It would be good
to display these as clickable icons (similar to a Facebook “like”) that allows readers to add additional
votes.
A “My Profile” component that enables users to view reviews and votes that they have left would be
very useful. The ability for users to edit and/or remove these would be even better.
They don't all need to be added but as many as possible would be great.
There are specific versions of mongodb/anuglar etc used that need to remain that way, they can be found in the files that I give to the person chosen.
There are two big folders I will send, one contains all the back end code and dataset and then the front end code. They need to remain in the two separate folders.
Comments would be helpful as you work through the code.
Any questions please ask away. I am very busy so will reply as soon as I can.
This is time sensitive as well so needs to be completed by Tuesday/Wednesday at the latest.
