HTML5 animation using canvas, javascript css3

The concept is to see if someone is on a guest list. The person will record their details including their name and on the following web page we will display this part of the project. It will contain a supplied video in the background and in front of that there will be scrolling names animating in a pre defined style. We then need to determine if the person is a winner which will be managed by our database. If they are a winner, it will then display the name that they entered on the previous screen.
