This project is not for the faint of heart and we are only looking for a Company with a exceptional track record and reviews. So please do not bid if you have not got any reviews or feedback!
We are a Parcel / Courier company Based in Nottingham UK offering Local /National & International Parcel/Document Delivery , Local /National & International Pallet Deliveries , Same DayPoint to Point Collections & Deliveries Locally & Nationally.
We are able to offer all of the above services by being able to feed into the bigger networks like Fedex , DHL ,TNT, UPS & into various pallet Networks
So we are looking for companies with the skill set to be able to seamlessly integrate suppliers systems with ours so when our users are placing orders these are entered on to our suppliers systems in real time! Please note we have API and support for some suppliers but not all.
1, Have got 2 sites
The 1st site has been built some time ago and is the original site and dose all the calculations and is the area members login to. Unfortunately when the site was built it was not SEO friendly as this was not considered at the time. Our site was developed a couple of years ago specifically to be SEO friendly and then links to the old site to process all the orders and create order and invoices extra!
What we want is bring everything onto one site and uniform the site so it follows the same structure all the way through!
2, Need in-depth testing of the site from a users point of view and administration point of view to identify any errors or over long processes and generally make sure all the current features work as they should do! Want a how to use video for users and members so they can be shown how to use all the functions and features. Need to make sure that the customers experience is the most positive one in my market place! This will also be achieved by testing our competitors sites and taking their best features and improving on them.
3 Integration of all suppliers we have on the system + integration of our accounts with http://www.kashflow.com/ Also Integration solution so our customers can integrate our order process with their own website. Also Need the ability for my site to be cloned so that other users can do what I can do for their own customer base. My site will be the Hub and allow or deny access to these members they will pay a editable amount each month and will be able to create their own unique customer base their customers will have the ability to register directly to them and place orders were the system will process the orders automatically. They and their customers will have access to customer support on their behalf. It will look after all their money management and accounts both online and off line. Link to their own payment portal /Paypal / Google Shop / Credit Card Processing. The main IROC system will invoice these users accordingly for the services they use and the subscription charge.
But these users will all so be able to switch of certain services from the IROC system so they can still offer the service to their customer but it will be manually processed by them in house and they will not be charged by IROC.
4, What we are looking for is someone with experience and a track record in developing logistics software and systems for the transport industry. As we want it to be feature rich and cutting edge.
What we want is the ability for owner drivers or companies to be able to easily register to our system entering details of their vehicle type load capacity ect , Rates they charge ect , Availability ect , Insurance documents to be uploaded and stored system must recognise expiry dates and automate alerts for this with periodical checks of driving licences.
Want the system to be self learning so if a user enters a Vehicle Type the system will store this as a selectable option for future users. And load capacities ect
Next will be the GPS aspect with google earth drivers will be able to enter the schedule onto the system for the day or in the future! As jobs come onto our websites the system will need to work out the right vehicle for the job and alert the most applicable drivers in our data base via email and sms!
What needs to then happen is the email /sms the driver gets will show the amount we will pay them the first parts of the collection and delivery postcodes ready time ect there will be a link Accept for both the email and the sms if the driver clicks on it they are accepting the job this will then alert the system that this job is booked it will then send the driver the full collection and delivery details. Please note the system will need to recognise who selects the link first and prevent anyone else from being able to accept the job! At the same time this has happened it will notify the customer that a driver is on their way this will give them their name picture of them and the ability to track their location via google earth and their mobile phone.
Want the ability for the drivers then to be able to get a signature at the delivery point take picture of the delivery and be able to upload image of signature so customers can see this online!
So this system needs to take all the hard work out of utilising the best vehicles being one step a heard knowing if vehicles have any spare capacity and are going the right way and meet customers time restraints. Integrating with our main sites back and front ends
The above is not for a novice this would suit someone with a existing experience of all the above.
