Artists Anonymous Theatre Network seek Web Developer
We are looking for tenders from web-developers with a knowledge of PhP who wish to partner with Artists Anonymous in developing our new online network.
Background to the Artists Anonymous Theatre Network
Artists Anonymous is a more than profit organisation supporting theatre makers the UK • http://www.theatrenetwork.org. We facilitate skills sharing, networking and career development. We run several real world’ events including regular networking nights, script development programs and workshops. In 2009 we embarked on an ambitious project to develop an online social network to compliment our existing real world events.
Working with Dogeared Designs we settled on the Elgg platform http://elgg.org - a modular PhP social networking tool - as the basis for this development. We already have the vast proportion of the website developed we now need to find the right partner to come on board to finish the site off and work with us once the site is completed to maintain and develop it. All of the basic social networking elements of the site are complete, as is a cms for editorial content and reviews. The main area still needing development is a theatre orientated event and calendar function.
Partnering Opportunity
We are looking for an individual or organisation who wishes to become a partner in the web development and running of the website. In return for investing your time in this project we’re offering you a share in the company and it’s future profits. This could also be an ideal project for a student to work on to develop an in-depth understanding of PhP.
If this is an opportunity you want to discuss further we’d love to go over all our plans with you, please feel free to contact us for more information.
I look forward to hearing from you,
All the best,
Alexander Parsonage
