Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Development copy of page the change needs to be made: www-dibbagroup-com/lgtest/
www.dibbagroup.com/lgtest/
Good jquery developer needed to adapt an existing auroramenu.js concertina menu to provide an additional sub level of concertina.
In the development site the left menu "Global Channels" and "Test School" areas expand to show their contents using auroramenu.js.
Changes required:
Add a 2nd concertina sub level so that "Global Channels" opens up to show "My Gems Shared", "National College", "Show-in-Class" etc. Clicking on one of them would then open it up.
On opening "Global Channels" and "Test School" the 2nd level concertina menu should always be closed.
As per the top level, selecting a different 2nd level concertina item would close the open one if one had previously been selected.
Add feature so that font size of each line (list level 1, 2, and 3) is reduced if necessary to fit in the available column width
Make sure the solution works within the existing site design with other javascripts being used. The development copy page is an HTML copy of the full site so has all the other javascript references in it.
Keep users state via cookies as per the existing solution (uses jquery-cookie.js) so the menu will stay as is when moving from site page to page.
To work in current versions of IE, chrome, firefox and safari.
We will provide FTP details for this test copy of the site so the implementation can be done by you on it and then tested by us.
Provide solution as a set of files and instructions for us to add to main site (i.e. if modifying html or css then these need to be as instructions for use to modify the live files, whereas modifying the javascript can be by overwriting the files).
That's about it. Hopefully not too tricky for a good javascript developer.
