Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the website: A booking/reservation system
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Num. of web pages/modules: 1
Description of every page/module: I am building a car park booking system based on Opencart. Customers can make a booking for 1 until 42 days. I have made several changes already to the Opencart system but I need someone to do the rest for me. It doesn't have to be a module, all changes can be coded in the system itself, whatever is the easiest to do.
Description of requirements/features: -1- Add a calendar so the customer can choose the first date of the booking. Also a second calendar is needed so the customer can choose the last date of the booking. Then the quantity (total days) should be calculated from these two dates.
A booking on the same day (for instance 21-06-2014 to 21-06-2014) is quantity: 1. A booking from one day to the next will be quantity: 2 and so on. On my system you can see that the price already adjusts as needed: http://adtv.nl/bookings/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=6627. Now the quantity needs to be calculated by the two calendars.
-2- Next to the calendar, I need the option to choose the arrival time and departure time like this: You can see the example here: http://booking.kingparking.nl (Vluchtnummer = flightnumber)
***NOTE: please do not use the ugly Opencart Date/Time option, I have seen this and it looks terrible. Also: the dates and times need to be in separate columns in the database in the 'order' table ;-) ***
-3- Customers have the option to choose a carwash or a car clean (it must be possible to add more options later on). I have two options already but now the price is calculated with the quantity. A booking for 24 days only needs 1 car wask and not 24 times...
-4- In the admin of the Opencart system, the arrival date (+time) and departure date (+time) is most important. I need the bookings to be visible by arrival date and departure date, so incoming and outgoing like this: (I made this in Photoshop) http://adtv.nl/parking-admin.jpg
I think it would be best to add fields to the order table in the database so all information is on the same table in the same line.
***All data in the admin panel should be editable! Customers will change flights so adjustments should be easy to make. Also "Options" should be editable, like adding or removing options***
5. Parking No. is a number that the administrator will assign to a booking. This is just the number of the parking place where the customer's car is parked. Also this should be editable.
Please give a quote and the amount of time that is needed to complete.
