FURTHER DETAILS
Here’s a rough translation on how the ordering process should flow:
1. You copy our database using the file provided, so you have items database.
2. Using your own database, you show the product for the customers.
3. Start taking orders, ie: take customer address info
4. Customer add items to your cart
5. Customer check out, you sum the total items, the weight, zip code, etc.
6. You provide them with shipping options by calling our function, given the info from #5
7. Customer select the ship method, you add the cost to their total invoice
8. *optional – you can check if the current items in your cart is available by calling one of our functions
9. Once they are ready to submit the order, You charge the customer payment on your end
10. you call the function to create the customer info on our end, will return ship_to_id (capture this and store on your db)
11. you submit the order to us, will return invoice number if successful(capture this on your db)
12. End of day, you call another function using invoice number/s to compare your order lines with what we shipped (maybe out of stock?) then you give proper refund to customer if needed. This also give tracking number, order status, etc
