General information for the website: Help with Magento 2 Wordpress integration
Description of requirements/features: The plugin we are trying to use/fix is called ‘Magento 2 WordPress Integration’ by ModernModules.com.
The setup we have is:
Wordpress v4.8 Instance setup at the webroot of our domain.
Magento v2.1.6 Instance installed in webroot/mgshop folder
This plugin should enable us to add individual Magento blocks either into the Wordpress templates or as shortcodes but this functionality is not working.
We are able to use the header/footer functionality to be able to have the complete header and footer present but it’s the specific named blocks element we would prefer to give us a finer control of the site layout and integration.
We do see a warning message which is:
Warning: DOMDocument::schemaValidate(): Invalid Schema in /mgshop/vendor/magento/framework/Config/Dom.php on line 311
We have been in contact with the original developers but the person who created this plugin is no longer with them and no-one else can help but they have told us that our setup is correct and should work.
