Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the website: www.unmillondeelefantes.com
Description of requirements/features: I need to update the website www.unmillondeelefantes.com that is built in Joomla 1.5 to the latest stable version of joomla to avoid hackings and problems with components. Some sections will dissapear but all the content, posts, travel routes and users must keep in the new version.
Will talk further with the developer to explain what should be keepd and what can be deleted.
The travel Routes called "Rutas de viaje" is the most complex section with some self code. All that should keep similar.
Extra services needed: Optimization
Extra notes: URLs must keep similar or being redirected.

There is no way to upgrade from 1.5, you have to build a new site. But all your data and images will be save.
All extension and template will be lost.
Confirm you understand i can send a bid for a new site,
You can choose new theme or confirm you want to keep your present design?

Hello Rafa,
It's not possible to update your website to j3.x, it just can't be done.
In your case, the only viable solution is to build a j3.x website from scratch and import the content from your j1.5 website.
Let me know if you want to discuss the project in detail.
Regards,
Paulo -
Can we discus more about your project?
