Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the website: Existing
Description of requirements/features: Restore from backup
Extra notes: I have a web site that uses the Joomla CMS. Unfortunately I have clicked on an auto-update that has installed Joomla 3.0. There are some components that are not ready for J3.0 and these have broken the site and I just get a white screen. This is the second time I have done this, I was able to revert back to a backup on the last occasion simply via CPanel. However I have left it too long this time and the current CPanel backups are a backup of the J3.0 version.
However I do have Akeeba Backup installed and there should be some backups on there. All the website content is still there and can be accessed via CPanel. I need someone to access this checked what the most recent Akeeba backup is and then restore the site from this.
I could also do with some advice on automating a full backup of the site that I can save to my PC in case of similar scenarios in future.
I have entered a notional price in the box as PPH requires something to go in here. I would prefer a fixed bid for this job and need it done ASAP.
