Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
General information for the website: Online survey for a consultant
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Num. of web pages/modules: 1
Description of every page/module: Quick Background.
I have a wordpress website built on the Salient theme. We have a survey which is powered by a plugin called modal survey. Most of the survey is powered by the plugin but another developer has modified some aspects of the plugin to get it to perform the right actions we want. The project is almost complete but we just have a few minor final things to finish.
This project will require a developer with knowledge of the wordpress CMS and also CSS/javascript.
Function already in place
• The user completes 7 sections of a survey then presses submit.
• They then complete a form and enter their details before being redirected to the survey results page.
• The survey results page shows the data from their answers as 2 charts and also as individual section scores.

Description of requirements/features: Issues that need fixing
1. User entered answers are not correlating to the results shown on the results page? I think this is linked to the survey plugin through some kind of javascript. The function works for logged in users but not for non logged in users. Ive tried disabling all server side and plugin cache and it doesnt fix the issue. As such, the issue is with the javascript customization.
2. Need the ability to update the plugin. The way the developer has made this edit we cant update the plugin apparently. The plugin update will also fix many of the other small glitches like how the survey data charts render. The 2 main plugin files that we need to be able to update are "modal_survey_answer.js" and "modal_survey_answer.min.js"
3. Slow load time between survey sections. May need to add a spinning "working" icon into the buttons if the slow loading cant be fixed
4. Sometimes the breadcrumbs and title are cut off the top of the page on desktop (chrome only) and mobile devices. Affects some pages and not others
5. On mobile view the "Share this" strip is being cut-off
Extra notes: We basically want someone with the skills to fix these final issues. If you go through the survey steps and inspect in Chrome for both desktop and mobile you'll see the issues that are occurring.
Hopefully this is enough info for you to reply and I look forward to your response and potentially working with you on this and future projects :)
