Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
General information for the website: Consultancy website
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of requirements/features: We have a feature on the home page of our wordpress site where we call in 16 featured images in a block. These images use jquery to fade in and then fade in and out over time. When the page is reloaded, a new random selection of images is loaded in (there are 30 images in all).
What the client would like is that instead changing the images on page load, each individual image will fade in then when it fades out to zero opacity, it will change to a new image. So I'm assuming this means each image will need to reload independently.
Couple of things - we have 4 images that always need to be displayed on reload (at the moment handling this with two queries to call the images, one for the first 4 images, then calling the rest of the images), and would need to make sure we aren't duplicating the images when reloading, if possible. And we would need the fades to be random, if possible - ie all images not fading at the same time.
