Hello, I'm building a Google Maps / Google Street View game and need an expert in the API to write a basic application that pulls in street view data and uses the imagery to render a linear path from a starting point to an end point. It is important to note that I need someone to lay the foundation down, and then create the prototype well enough so that I may be able to pick it up and continue to develop it.
Requirements:
-- Build the framework for a Street View based-game that routes a path from a starting point to an end point, with 20-30 waypoints in between.
-- Each "waypoint" is a placeholder node for later content and for now can be a simple blank HTML page.
-- In between each waypoint, the player will move forward or backward (see this link for an example of a street view game that is navigable: http://www.wonder-tonic.com/zombie/). The game is complete when the player successfully crosses from the start point through the end point, visiting each waypoint along the way.
-- Some basic functionality will be required such as buttons to move forward and backward, the ability to switch between street view and "waypoint" nodes, etc, start and stop buttons, "autoplay" mode, etc.
-- The ability to build a framework that I can work with in the future, adding content as the project evolves.
What's Not Required:
-- CSS, UI or any kind of graphical/design input.
A plus if you are familiar with the following:
-- Unity / UnityScript / C# and how it incorporates into browser-based experiences
-- WebGL experience, or can offer insight into how to distort images as seen in this example: http://a-way-to-go.com/
