Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Hi there,
I use the Toolset suite of plugins for WordPress: https://wp-types.com/
I'm using custom post types, fields, etc. Also the Toolset Maps plugin:
https://wp-types.com/documentation/user-guides/#toolset-maps
That allows me to add a map location to each of my custom posts.
You can see this working here: http://dev3.pontcymru.org/conservation-grazing/grazing-case-studies/
For each post a pin is plotted.
I want to know if you can provide customisations to the mapping system, such that instead of plotting a pin, an administrator could plot a polygon, from within the WP Dashboard post edit page, instead of a pin.
This development would be as a WP plugin.
I'm not sure if this is actually possible, but would like to know if you can do it.
Alternatively, we could consider use a way of drawing the polygon on Google maps and being able to associate it with individual posts.
