Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the website: Web Development
Description of requirements/features: The plugin will check when user is trying to open website example.com (should be hardcoded by the user who will promote the plugin) or any of its mirrors (www.example.com, example1.com, www.example1.com, example2.com, www.example2.com … www.exampleX.com). Once the website or any of mirrors are being opening, the plugin will validate if page is properly loaded or blocked by internet provider.
1.a) In case the page was loaded properly (in each page we should have an html peace of code, to show to the plugin it is correct page), the plugin will inject script(change html code of the page) to hide a div element which contains banner with advertisement of the installation of the plugin on the top of the page.
1.b) In case the page does not load or loads any warning page (website is blocked by the provider), the plugin will automatically try to open other mirror, till the page loads properly or the list of available mirrors ends.
1.3. Plugin external server
The list of actual servers and mirrors will be available at another server. (http://exampleABC.com/file.txt. The connection between plugin and server has to be encrypted.
The text file file.txt on the server http://exampleABC.com will be encoded in any clever way and plugin will decode it. If the user try to open http://exampleABC.com/file.txt, he should see an unreadable string.
Extra notes: The plugin will check when user is trying to open website example.com (should be hardcoded by the user who will promote the plugin) or any of its mirrors (www.example.com, example1.com, www.example1.com, example2.com, www.example2.com … www.exampleX.com).
