Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I have attached a sample website. This has 3 tabs, Contents, Index and Search. The first two tabs can be ignored. The Search tab is the one I need work done on.
The search tab has a search box on the left (FHSearch.html) and the search results on the right (FHSearchResults.html). There are two issues, the first is that double-quote search does not work and the second is that I want the results on each page to be highlighted.
Change One
If you type in "with blistered" in the search field, it should find this but it says no results. This needs to be fixed. This is shown in the attached image "DoubleQuoteSearchIssue.png".
Change Two
After a normal search, a list of search results are shown on the right. The user clicks a link on a result and the page loads. That works fine, but I want the search results to be highlighted on that page. The highlight colour needs to be a variable, so I can easily change it later. Please add the javascript code into the existing FHSearch.js file. Please ensure that once the user has clicked back onto the Contents or Index tab and then opens a page that the search results are no longer highlighted. The search words/phrase, should only be highlighted when the page is displayed from the list of search results. Please also note that the search results should be tested in the top heading section at the top of the page as well as the main content of the page, thank you.
Amy questions please let me know.
