Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
We need a web app demo based on leaflet (leafletjs.com) to show the statistics of trips from an 'Origin' area, to a 'Destination' area and viceversa. It should be freely available online, we will host it in our web. It should be as simple as possible (users shoud not require instructions) and it should work as follows:
(1) Initially the user finds a map with just some polygons as in:
http://kidodynamics.com/Alicante/Alicante_Zonificacion.html
(2) Then, the user clicks in a polygon and a pop-up appears with three options: 'Origin', 'Destination' or 'Both'.
If the user selects 'Origin', then he needs to select a second polygon as 'Destination'. If the user selected 'Destination' for the first polygon, then the second should be 'Origin' only. If the user selected 'Both', then the second polygon will be 'Both' only as well.
Since this is just a demo, only one pair of polygons can be selected! We suggest to represent all the other polygons with higher transparency (low alpha) so it is clear that only these twoones can be selected.
(3) Once the two polygons are selected, the LineStrings with the trajectories are loaded as in:
http://kidodynamics.com/Alicante/I20_I18_BR.html
In this case, blue lines represents trajectories with 'Origin' in the first polygon and 'Destination' in the second one, and red lines represent the opposite. The info about 'Origin' and 'Destination' for the LineStrings is included as metadata in the shp (or GeoJSON) files we will provide, so it can be easily filtered.
(4) The user can click at any line and a popup will show the value of total traffic at that point.
The total traffic is computed as the number of LineStrings at that point, 'blue' lines on one hand, 'red' lines on the other.
We will provide polygons and LinesStrings in a file.
We will give priority to fast delivery, please do not hesitate to define a deadline (preferiblely before or for next Sunday 12th of August).
Thanks for your interest.

Alberto, please share polygons and LinesStrings so we can review.
