*****UK DEVELOPERS ONLY PLEASE*****
General information for the website: Amends to current website - www.knoxellis.co.uk/news
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of every page/module: We are working on a news page for our client's wordpress website and need a bit of tech support.
The website page is - http://www.knoxellis.co.uk/news
Description of requirements/features: the changes required are:
1) Categories of news. As we only do a very narrow area of work, a lot of the categories will not be relevant to our clients. Can it be limited to Social Housing and Landlord & Tenant ?
2) Can the size the headline of each news item be smaller so not doesn’t take up as much space and require less strolling. Perhaps the same size of the LHS links?
3) At present we have a side menu of Newsletter, SHLN, Our News, Archived News.
The page automatically shows the latest news so maybe Legal News should be the top heading and then a person has to choose the other headings if they want to go into them. Newsletter would be next in the order, Our News and then Archived. However see next comment about Our News
4) We presently have a separate heading for Our News but it’s also included as a sub category of news. We don’t need both. I think it look better if Our News is a separate heading but is that difficult in terms of linking it to the use of the RSS to put together our own news or announcements etc or must it be in the drop down list of news. Ok if it has to be but in which case I think the actual heading of that menu will need to be different. Any thoughts?
Not difficult, that is fine. So on the drop down we will just have Social Housing and Landlord & Tenant.
5) We need a subscribe to our newsletter option on the newsletter page
