Description
Experience Level: Expert
General information for the website: HTML5 app for children
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Num. of web pages/modules: 1
Description of requirements/features: Fix small problem with webpage
Extra notes: When our HTML5/Javascript app is run in an IE browser, the background image is scaled to the width of the browser - and so is the height. This is a problem as we use the canvas model and elements of our software are not in the right places.
It only happens in IE, and we think it is something to do with the 'auto' (or possibly 'background-size) used in the CSS file. We also have webkit commands in the CSS file, which are probably redundant. Two screenshots are attached.
A second problem is that we would like some code to automatically put (vertical) scrollbars on the HTML page if the browser window is less than 768 pixels high (not every browser seems to do this by default), and there may be other problems we find.
