Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: Not sure
We require a WooCommerce expert to help build some custom function in our new website (not yet live)
We need the ability to create "Master Product Drop Down" options that can be chosen when listing products.
We will be able to create and name a "Master Drop Down" - for example "Print Finish" The Product Drop Down named "Print Finishe" will then have a range of different options, such "A5 Print Only, A4 Print Only, A3 Print Only" - each of these options will have a different price, £3.95. £4.95, £12.95"
This "Print Finish" drop down will display on the product page, so that customers can select a "Print Finish" when buying that item
This Drop Down example above may be applied to a number of different products, therefore we need to be able to create this "Drop Down" once, with the options and prices (as above). We would then be able to edit / duplicate / create a new product and have the option to choose this "Drop Down" to display on the product.
When an option from the drop down is chosen, the price associated with that drop down will display on the product page for the buyer to see - so they can see the price. When no option is selected, the product will show a "range" of prices . i.e. £3.95 - £12.95 (the range of prices in the drop down)
There will be no specific SKU or Stock level relating to the drop down - so no fucntionality for that is needed
I can give better examples above live on the site for those that require more information
