NB: I am not a developer. However, I do have some technical knowledge so please detail the basics of how you can achieve the project. If I don't understand, I will ask or Google.
Can you provide me with the functionality I have outlined below.
Hello! Established since 2005, The Fitting Studio provides the Expert Bra-Fitting Service and retails beautiful G to K-cup Lingerie.
I need a secure site where my customers can view their purchase history and also be able to view and pre-order (secure payment in advance) upcoming colourways etc. of styles they have already purchased from The Fitting Studio.
I need to be easily able to update single, group or all customers about product ETA and show sold-out variants.
All sales and customer data is held in Access Database files so all relevant data can be dumped into the newly created software.
I am not sure how I keep the sales data up-to date on the new site going forward.

The site will not be a bolt on to my current site and will have its own URL. One of my suppliers has a site that starts https://b2b - the site seems to be hidden somehow and not part of mainstream google search engine, that is what I want. A bit like a back-end for my customers. The aforementioned site does not have the functionality I am after, I just like the URL behaviour.
To avoid setting up hundreds of unused customer accounts, my plan is to invite my customers to request an account.
I create the customer account and then send them the log-in details. That particular process needs to be quick and easy because I could potentially get hundreds of customer account requests. Maybe all customer data and purchase history is uploaded and I just reference the relevant information when I set-up each account.
An easy messaging functionality is important. From a product information page I want to be able to send a message (click radio button(s) that relates to style option(s). The message function could call a particular template and have automatically populated information from particular fields of the product page.
When I think about trying to implement an out-of-the-box E-Commerce solution. My requirements seem to be a rather advanced version of "also available" or "matching styles" - I might be wrong there.
Just be honest. If you know of current E-commerce software that can do what I want with fair bit of tweaking. Please propose that and I will pay you to do it. I don't want to waste time and money "re-inventing the wheel".
I need the website up and running ASAP as I am relocating the business within the next month. I understand that the project might end up being bigger than my description outline and the budget I have submitted. However, that can all be negotiated.
I will reject proposals that ask for all the money upfront.

Please clarify - apart from the usual names and contact details?
Product purchase history will be:- product variant, date of purchase and price paid.
How many products and variations?
I will start with about 40 products, each product has the potential to have 42 variants
I will delete sold out products as long as the purchase histories of the deleted product can be kept.
Roughly how many clients and do you have their emails already?
Over six thousand clients in the database (not all will participate but new clients are added everyday).
I currently hold mobile numbers. When clients sign up to the Portal, supplying an email address will be mandatory. I would like to be able to communicate via email and mobile.
