I have a basic portfolio site created in Drupal 7, it is a portfolio of my artwork but my knowledge and experience of Drupal has hit a road block and I'm stuck - I can explain what I want to achieve in detail but basically the requirements are:
* I want for a user to click on the first level navigation (ie. Patterns and pictures) and for that page to display just the titles of the sub sections in a list or grid format
* I then want a user to click on the second level navigation (ie. realistic pencil drawings) and for that page to display just the titles of the sub sections in a list of grid format
* on the third level I want a user to be presented with a grid-view of my artwork
* a user would then be able to click on a grid icon and that will open up the artwork detail page - displaying title, description, thumbnails
* when a user clicks on the thumbnails in the artwork detail page it opens up a lightbox for them to take a closer look
* I want the Superfish navigation to dropdown to the left rather than the right
I want some general site styling amends as per site examples.
I've created a simple wireframe and have attached some examples of sites I quite like. Here's a couple of other links I like too: http://manualcreative.com/projects/ http://yaronschoen.com/work/ http://paulrobertlloyd.com/portfolio/
I don't feel this is a hugh amount of work but it would complete my site to allow me to upload all my artwork - I simply want a good basis to exhibit my work and Drupal offers great taxonomy extendibility into the future.
I am happy to create a design deck to visually guide a developer through the requirements.
Site url is: datamandesign.co.uk if you want to take a look at it in current state.
Many thanks Anthony
