Description
Experience Level: Expert
We're looking for a freelancer to build a website from scratch. The aim of the website is to allow event organisers from across the UK host their upcoming events and for the site to be a place where event go-ers can easily navigate by event type, region, postcode search and mile radius.
The event page will contain a title, slideshow of images, map, description, link to all social media and some meta information such as 'amount of exhibitors' 'ticket price' with the ability to contact the organiser to discuss the event. All of this information must be tracked, clickthrough, visits etc and can be accessed by the event organiser in a custom admin panel.
The event pages will also list other relevant events below, typically.
You can sign up on the site as a event go-er, exhibitor, business (where you can interact with event listings by enquiring to attend as a business or clicking the 'I'm exhibiting button', event organiser or a venue.
We'd like to monetise some listings, you can upgrade your listing for £xx and it will appear at the top of all relevant searches.
The most important thing for us is the SEO, we're happy running listings for free and making a little from monetisation for now but we're looking for ranking. We've spent a substantial amount on a domain for the purpose.
We're looking for a UK based web developer, (this is not a Wordpress development) who we can work with for the foreseeable future with updates, maintenance and new features.
We look forward to hearing from you. Please send portfolio items of entirely custom developments, Wordpress will not be considered. There are a few websites we can draw comparisons to which I will share with the selected candidate.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
