We are currently deploying Salesforce.com across our small company. We want to also base a new public website on the force.com platform. We aim to use the CSMSForce2 App to manage the content. I am looking for someone who has experience of deploying force.com pubilc facing sites. the attached design brief has been sent to traditional web-designers, but a lot of the content is applicable to the force.com based approach. I am happy for one agency to do both the web design (graphic design and CSS coding) as well as the force.com platform, or I could split the two aspects depending on your capabilities.
The wireframe on page 7 of the brief shows that there are about 16 \"normal\" pages. most of these will have \"calls to action\" that should feed to salesforce,.com - either \"request a call back\" into a case queue, an \"application form\" for people who want to work for us sent to a workflow process, or \"sign up for our newsletter.
The core of the site, however is less about our \"brochure\" and about the useful, informative and practical information we want to publish (the left column on the wireframe). This are needs to expose specified salesforce.com knowledge-base resources, with a structured (hierarchical) guide page. Each article should be accesses AFTER the user has left us their Name, email address or phone number. but once they have done this once they should be able to look at any of the articles. Does this need a self-service user account setup? Also I need the ability for users to leave comments against each article, but for these comments to be moderated. Also users should be able to \"send to a friend\" each article.
Overall the whole site needs:
- to beGoogle searchable (including the articles)
- use full URLs, and use the www.nobilis.co.uk domain name
- The homepage will have a \"blog feed\" and a \"twitter feed\". i would like to do the blogging inside salesforce.com, and ideally have a mans to also then publish out to twitter.
- need to be able to embed youtube video on any page
Looking to move quite quickly on this project.
